June was busy for site work, with sidewalk grading continuing around the Phase I areas and form/pour ongoing. In addition, the splash pad broke ground, and excavation work is happening in earnest for storm drains and deep utilities. For the buildings, Broadrock is wrapping up its interiors and is getting ready for its first punch walks and final cleans in July, which is very exciting! Cascara is similarly wrapping up closely behind, with construction punches and final cleans following in close succession to Broadrock. Once final cleans are done, units will be taped off until opening. Sitka got its storefront frames and glass installed and is prepping for exterior paint in the coming weeks, which is fantastic as the tree motif will really take form with the green paint slowly spreading across the facade this month. Finally, Klipsan finalized MEP rough-ins and set tubs and sprinklers, as well as finished full waterproof membrane, with masonry install starting at the end of the month and continuing into July.
